To Istanbul via Madrid
It has been a crazy July from vacation to work. A family wedding in Istanbul took us to Turkey via Madrid. After 7 hours of reading, sleeping in the plane we arrived in Madrid and checked into Hotel Precidados ( hotel website ) excellent hotel/location very near the main drag...Gran Via and walking distance to Puerte del sol, Plaza Mayor etc. The first day was the tapas tour... if you have not arranged a guided Tapas tour, try Mercado De San Miguel which has several different Tapas stalls under one roof.
