Old San Juan with the Spanish architecture and Condado with the beaches, truly provides you with an island get away with history, charm, beaches and excursions. First a glimpse of Old San Juan...with the blue-hued cobblestone streets lined with colorful pastel buildings ;
What would a trip be without scoping out some interior decorating stores
Puerto Rico is a foodies dreamland. Eating good food is part of our itinerary and of course out of our current wardrobe!
One restaurant stands out for their food and service. St Germain Bistro and Cafe deserves a post on it's own! It is worth the visit to taste their fresh food/sandwiches and enjoy their OUTSTANDING service. If you ever go to this restaurant don't forget to taste their rum and amaretto cake, it was the best cake I have ever tasted. We ate here twice and kept going back for more. The decor is informal and cheerful.
There is no shortage of art galleries, hip bars and fancy restaurants
