Gandhi - The Satyagraha House

Mahatma Gandhi needs no introduction, he is referred to as Mahatma which means a great soul.  Gandhi's non-violance resistance came to be knows as Satyagraha (truth force in Sanskrit).  The Satyagraha house is one of the houses that Gandhi lived in South Africa and now preserved as a heritage house.  This house was built in 1907 by a German architect Hermann Kallenbach who was Gandhi's close friend.  Just added this to my travel list...my husband hasn't seen the list!.

Here is eye candy, history, heritage and an authentic Edwardian style home.

While on the subject of South Africa, have you seen this village called Bo Kaap near Cape Town.  Beautiful houses with different colors.
